Blender.org and the Big Buck Bunny

I had interest in animation when I was in high school but the 3D craze just started about two years ago because of the Y4iT event.

What is all about 3D Animation?
3D Animation is a sequence display of images creating motions in a three-dimensional figure. It's also an illusion to which an object or image is animated to create a certain movement.

Lately last year, I discovered something new about 3D animation. Have you heard about Blender? Have you tried it? Photo credit to Kernelhouse.org.

Frakas Dream! by Pablo Vasquez

Blender is basically a free open source software used in 3D manipulation and animation. In fact, Blender is now used to produce 3D animated short movies such as Bounce to Space, Murnau the Vampire, Lighthouse, Kajimba, Project London and Big Buck Bunny.

Big Buck BunnyBBB tells the story of a giant rabbit with a heart bigger than himself. When one sunny day three rodents rudely harass him, something snaps ... and the rabbit is not no bunny anymore! In the typical cartoon tradition he prepares the nasty rodents a Comical revenge - Blender Foundation.

Animazing, fantastic and entertaining! Agree?

I have installed Blender on my laptop a few weeks ago. For now, I am trying to learn Blender basics and its user interface. Hoping to cope up soon!
