San Carlos is a 2nd class city and one of the most busiest towns in the Province of Pangasinan. The City of San Carlos has grown enormously through the decades since its cityhood on January 1, 1966. It has 86 barangays occupied by over 160,000 people and considered as the most populated place in Pangasinan.

Beyond statistics, in terms of cultural and economic activity, San Carlos City has truly grown dynamically, from the tradition, belief, society, education, agriculture, craft industry, crop production, commerce, as well as the tourism growth. As the Mango-Bamboo Capital of the Philippines and being in the center of Pangasinan, the economic importance and its growth is indeed valued and without doubt it's a perfect place to invest.

With this figures and proofs, San Carlos City continued to engage the mass with various activities and events developing social and economic interests not only to the locals but also to the nearby towns. One of these activities is the Pangasinan's Biggest Barbeque Party scheduled on November 30, 2010 and will be held at the Arenas Resuello Sports and Civic Center, San Carlos City.

The PBB Party 2010 will cater different activities and significant competitions amongst the local schools and known restaurants in the province. With less than a week to go before the said event, preparation on line-up activities and excitement is nearing fever pitch. Beating the zone of excitement, I will be in attendance the first time and as usual excited to learn something new and nippy.

Why am I going to the PBB Party? To start with, I am attending because I am curious and fully interested. Pangasinan's Biggest BBQ Party? Guess it's really an event to discover (the culture, economy, city, people, and new barbecue variants to taste etc.) and something to be involve with, meaning it's about gaining fresh knowledge and fun experience.

Secondly, from Mass Oathtaking, Inter-school Food Carving, Flair Tending, and Cook-off Competitions to look upon, I am really thrilled to join the PBB Party Side Events particularly the Bloggers' Meet-up, wherein Pangasinan bloggers, with the same interests, are invited and gathered to bond, share, and talk about correlated ideas. Well, that would be cool then to strengthen the local blogging community, as well as to cover the event. Sharing is caring! So blogging about the event is but a treasure to share with the virtual community.

Jobs Fair is also one of the reasons why I am going to attend the event. In line with this, local web development and hosting company, print and online business based company will be attending the event and hire graphic and web designers, web developers, programmers, software developers, sale managers and executives, and journalists to name a few. Computer Science, Information Technology, Management, Commerce, and Journalism graduates are encourage to participate, so better update and print out your resumes now and get hired.

There will be organized seminars as well on Livelihood and Business, Health and Wellness, and Comprehensive Blogging, and that really interests me a lot, are you? Did I tell you that there will also be a media participation coming from the GMA7 TV10 Barangayan, even live band to wrap-up the stage entertainment? Crank up because it's going to be a blast for sure!

Food trip, jobs fair, cooking show, inter school competitions, entertainment, and seminars in a single-day event! Where else to go? All are warmly invited to attend the Biggest BBQ Party in Pangasinan, from geeks, bloggers, and all the way down to food aficionados, name it. So mark your chart year and reserve now your slot for this event, also tell your friends and classmates to join for more fun. See you all guys in the event!
